Landscape of Auvergne, France.
The Arzon is a river which flows a few kilometers from Anne Baudequin's studio. On this first summer day, she went to find the coolness of the shade of the woods and the lapping of the water.

This landscape is painted “alla prima”, with lively and spontaneous brushstrokes to attempt to capture the momentary effects of sunlight , the movement and the atmosphere.

This artwork will be packaged rolled in a tube. Once stretched by a framer, the white finish of the sides of the canvas allows you to hang it without a frame if you wish.

Materials used:

This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
