Original artwork description:

The Stanislaus River in the Sierra Nevada Foothills in Northern California offers wild scenic views, spectacular swimming holes, and tall trees. The mystery of what's around the river bend was powerfully attractive and fascinating for me to paint.

Materials:
Oil on oil primed Claessens Belgian linen canvas on 1/8 MDF archival art panel, finished with melamine backing that prevents warping and deterioration. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. Painting is unframed and requires a frame to hang.
