'Ripley'- Capturing Ellen Ripley's look of being alarmed, scared, courageous and ready all at the same time. The round space helmet meets the edges of the square canvas which represents the tv screen through which we would have watched the film. The head appears unattached, adding to the sense of aloneness.

Painted in oil with sponges on deep edged canvas.
