Sculpture illustrating an african and singular warrior, made with steel and welded salvaged pieces.A whimsical character, as if imbued with a rare and atypical poetry. The symbolism is the essential trait found in most of the artist's sculptures. The work presented here defines the long thought process in order to achieve a coherent whole leaving no room for the superficial or the useless. Each piece adds the necessary ingredient to harmonise and consolidate the subject, a sculptural purification goal dear to Jean-Luc Lacroix, which tends towards abstraction.
