One off piece made from combined 1930s vintage patterns that came from a Belgian foundry. The patterns were used to form sand cast moulds for metal.
Working with Italian sculptor Victor Redigolo, this is part of a series of works creating artworks using these patterns and keeping the original striking yellow and red paint in tact. The work features the foundry markings in pen and metal ID tags. The base is custom made in steel from the oldest blacksmiths in London based in Kew Steam Museum.
