My next work from the "Riding your dreams" projekt.
A lot of people, not only artists suffer badly under stress caused by the isolation and all the media hystery around latest news.
To combat this media-induced depression, I use visualization techniques. One of these meditation exercises is to imagine an animal carrying you out of the darkness. A real or a fairy tale creature. An animal strong enough to carry you alone or with your loved ones. It can be a pet. It can be a wild elephant, an animal you dreamed of in your childhood. And then imagine this animal taking you calmly far away from all your current worries and taking you to a beautiful, safe place. Imagining a few small details helps a lot to visualize a really vivid image. And these images subsequently help in reality! This is one of such visualizations that I captured in ceramics - a story about a melancholic girl on a blue ox. Of course your might think about Europa abducted by Zeus. Well, this was definitely the source of inspiration of this artwork. Whatever comes this huge ox will carry her as long as it takes to bring her to the bright side.
