Original artwork description:

This is a mixed media painting of part of the ancient Ridgeway which is close to where I live. There is a red kite in the foreground of which we see many now and I love to see them swoop overhead with their warm red colours and striking shape.
This painting has been worked with a combination of acrylics, ink and watercolours.
It comes mounted and framed in a black wooden 'box' frame and is currently on display at an exhibition at the Vale and Downland Museum, in Wantage, Oxfordshire (please see my 'about - exhibitions' for details.
