This image is part of a series of abstract art works. My intention is to explore shape, colour and movement of organic form in context by manipulating and layering multiple copper plates. I have used a sense of place in nature to inspire me.

The method used is etching on multiple plates using sugar lift and spit bite aquatint and chine colle'.

Materials used:

oil based ink and Somerset Satin paper
