The title of this painting was born from rhythms spontaneously forming through layers of brushstrokes. As I worked over the surface of the paper, movements of colours and shapes evolved. They began to interact with each other in a lively musical whirl. Lines of the body of the man who was our model emerged.
I forgot daily concerns and lost myself in the creative process.
I enjoy working in a state of heightened senses and feel pleased with the results. I love to work quickly and spontaneously to music. Colours and movement are essential to me, as they convey a sense of freedom and vitality.
Painted on a Friday morning Dynamic Drawing session at Byron Bay, Australia.
Acrylic paints on 240 GSM cartridge paper. Unframed. Requires framing.
