This drawing explores a journey around the city of Nicosia, Cyprus. During a residency stay in Cyprus, I travelled to the city a couple of times to visit the city, the border and the Turkish side of the city.

This drawing records a walk taken through the city on the way to the border and records the rhythm of the various element that stood out during the visit there. Each element is represented through the use of a specific colour associated with it, creating a compositional piece, exploring the poetics and the rhyme of this wonderful divided city.
