A busy, colourful depiction of an area in which the plants have been allowed to grow as they like - liberating on a grand scale! The freedom emanates from the canvas, bringing a feeling of joy and hope to the viewer.

I loved working on this painting - starting with loose brushstrokes, building up the detail gradually across the work, finishing with the tiny details which continue to show themselves as time goes by.

Signed on the front and varnished.
