In Greek mythology, Asphodel Meadows is a section of the Ancient Greek underworld where indifferent and ordinary souls were sent to live after death. This painting depicts a return to Asphodel Meadows. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
The canvas is 106.7 cm (W) x 167.6 cm (H). The sides are painted in the same manner as the painting and so there is no need for a frame.
This work was created on the 1st July of 2022.
