No matter what I paint or interpret, I am always coming back to my childhood spend in the snowy climate of Russia. This piece was just my impression of a wintery landscape I saw, but at last still came out as something from my youth. I used palette knife and the piece has lots of texture. It is painted on wooden panel, so it is quite heavy.
