Beauty. So fascinating!
The young emerging artist Kevin Wilczewski tries to answer the question „What is beautiful?“ with this art piece (title: "Retro III"). With his colorful acrylic paintings, Wilczewski would like to encourage the viewer to question his own perception of beauty and encourages self-determined thinking. This artwork is part of his modern pop art series „What is beautiful?“. Are you happy with yourself? What does beauty mean to you?

Artist statement: „With my pop art portraits I put the desire for being beautiful in the spotlight, showing how ephemeral beauty can be, helping to change the way of thinking and the behaviour regarding to define your own ideal of beauty.“
