Original artwork description:

This painting depicts a deep and restless ocean, which showed us its turquoise wave, breaking on the coast. The background is dark blue, because there is depth of water, but in front the wave is more transparent and we can see the contrast of colors. Unfortunately, modern photo and video cameras "eat" turquoise shades, and we see the picture more in blue. In live, this painting has a more varied palette of marine turquoise and greenish tones, and the sea looks much more natural.

This work is massive and shows the wave in detail. Looking at this picture, you are mentally transported to the sea, and it seems you even smell the sea breeze.
In the foreground, sea foam is spreading along the rocky shore, and you seem to feel it on your feet.

I painted this picture using oil paints and solvent, and the crests of the waves are emphasized with a texture paste, what adds volume and relief to the picture.

Materials used:

Oil, solvent, texture paste
