This is one of many views I have painted in the old quarter of Luxembourg - "Grund". Here, the river Alzette carves its way through a gorge between historic buildings, many of which are now elegant apartments or restaurants. Restaurant Mosconi is one of the well known gourmet restaurants in the city and it certainly has a lovely location by the water's edge!
