"Respiro" (Breath) is a drawing that evokes a moment of introspection and stands as a representation of my artistic and personal path.
It holds a dual symbolic meaning.
On one hand, it represents a deep immersion into introspection, a journey towards the core of being, aimed at connecting the fragmented parts of personality; a it represents a moment of inner recollection focused on the integration of the self.
On the other hand, this drawing is a meeting point between two distinct stylistic traits that define my art: pencil portraiture and the surreal doodling of colorful elements. Two ambivalent traits coexist and interpenetrate here. Around the pencil portrait, particles of color radiate, creating an interaction and harmonious integration between realism and abstraction.
Respiro is an image that invites contemplation of the beauty of inner calmness, an invitation to explore the deepest essence of oneself.
