Original artwork description:

Mysterious and emotive. Lightly and rapidly drawn in water-soluble graphite, this horizontal aspect of a woman is first painted in real time in deep, warm, rich colour. Mood, emotion and time are implied within the colour layering and resonate of amber. The paint moves and softens the lines and edges disappear to give the figure an air of embedded mystery within the painting.
