Recently I had to possess resilience, and as a result, I decided a paint a work that reflected the emotions of having resilience when it was needed. I think there are so many emotions that come to the fore when we need them, and so it occurred to me that we do indeed all experience similar emotions at times like this. This work was painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together. This work has glittery dried acrylic as well, one image shows, side on, the effect. It is designed to catch the light.

his work is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. This canvas has been REMOVED FROM THE STRETCHER, it is more affordable to have the work remounted than pay for expensive shipping. The work will NEED REMOUNTING and is suitable for a stretcher frame that is 200 cm in width by 96 cm in height.

This work was created on the 6th of April 2019.

In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.
