Original artwork description:

Rendition IV
This is a one off blind embossed image/print/artwork.
I have been try to see if I could produce the most low impact and environmentally friendly image that I could, no ink, paint, dyes, cleaning products and minimal materials, no canvas, photography or computers.
This is one of a set of four artworks that grew out of this project, created with heavy weight sheets of handmade paper and embossed images created with hand cut modified found materials to produce the shapes that make up the final artwork.
We lightly damped down the sheets of paper first, to soften them up. This made a more receptive paper surface and less likely to crease under pressure, then ran them through a large printing press. This gave a contrast between the compressed sections, where the cut shapes and objects had been. These areas become smoother in contrast to the papers natural coarser surface.

This print featured in the Wrexham international print exhibition in 2011.
