"Rendez-vous in Vieux Lyon" is an original palette knife oil painting on canvas, 25x25cm / 10x10inches. The painting is realized on linen, bonded on wood panel and framed with mat board.
I was inspired to paint this modern impressionist street scene during my long walks in the Old Town of Lyon (Vieux Lyon). One of my favorite areas in Lyon, known for its wonderful examples of Gothic and Renaissance architecture.

This is a palette knife painting. No brush was used to create the work. I only used different types of palette knives to apply thick oil color paint.
