"Réminiscence de Provence", I have lived most of my life in Provence, so I imagine that I still have strong impressions of the lights there, the colours, the ochres, the pine trees, the high contrast between the ground and the green of the vegetation, the ground and the blue of the sky....all the Derain paintings, the fauvism, Cezanne.... I have "my south" moment here.

I am enjoying so much painting on Masonite board, the surface is so smooth, it allows me multiple effects, I also like the final object, it's heavier than the paper, it gives another feel.
I am again searching, experimenting renditions of impressions, it is a slow process where I learn a language, I enrich it with each of the painting I create.
Scrapping, brushing, fading, it all has become a vocabulary, as much as the recurring shapes, and objects appearing through each of my compositions.

If you buy more than one the same size, the shipping will apply only once,
usually if I can send all the works at once (maximum up to 3 in a same box for canvas and up to 5 or 6 for paper works) I make the reduction and I keep you inform, feel free to contact me if you need further informations or if you have any questions.
