I am fascinated by the colour and texture of the natural landscape and the way that the light interacts with the landscape. The changing of the season brings new colours into play and this artwork is an exploration of light and texture.
The low light of late September highlights the colours and textures of the drying foliage . This original palette knife painting in shades of gold was created with many layers of heavy body acrylic paint applied with a palette knife.
