Original artwork description:

In creating this piece, I was drawn to the raw emotions that shadows and light evoke against the backdrop of our own fragility and strength. The amalgamation of acrylic and plaster and ink swirls into a dance of darkness and bursts of subdued light, reflecting life’s complex layers. In this artwork, viewers find a mirror to their emotions, inviting self-reflection and a deep, resonant connection with the internal battles we all face and the external concerns we may all have about terrible conflicts everywhere that leave us wrestling with what it might be like to return "home" to ruins. Notice the dog on the roof seeking solace. It’s an emotional anchorage, perfect for spaces that embrace introspection and the beauty of human depth.

Acrylic and plaster on a 14 x 11 inch hardboard panel. This painting has a lot of texture and a wonderful patina that comes only from a long history of previous versions -- which is part of my style. Sold unframed.

Signed on the back. Carefully packaged and shipped in a cardboard box. Accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
