I actually dreamed this. Two old-timey scales that were connected by a beating heart with an eye. I suppose if our hearts had eyes to see it wouldn't lead us into nearly so much trouble. The weights for the scales were various things that are deal breakers in most relationship or things that weigh heavily like wanting a house when the other person does not. Loss of a child, addiction, cheating, spending all time on social media and other things .

Size is 12 inches by 9 inches.

The entire piece is sealed under several layers of clear varnish.

My artworks are in happy homes around the globe in private and public collections.
