As an artist, I have always been fascinated by the way music and dance can be transformed into color and form.
The work can be seen as a visual interpretation of the musical and dance expression characteristic of Bulgarian folklore. The rhythm 7/8 is often associated with energetic movements and complex choreographic patterns, which find their reflection in the bright colors and smooth lines of the painting.
I used a rich palette of vibrant colors to recreate the whirlwind of movement and the inner rhythm of Bulgarian folk dances. The smooth, curving lines are reminiscent of the graceful movements of the dancers, while the geometric elements reflect the structure of the rhythm itself, recreating the feeling of joy and energy that our traditional music brings.
