There are many yacht regattas all around the world, they are full of excitement, competition and camaraderie. Some of the oldest and most well known are the Dartmouth Royal Regatta just a few miles from where I live in Devon, Cowes Week, the New York Yacht Club, Sydney's Australia Day, Auckland Anniversary Regatta and the daddy of them all the international Americas Cup. This impressionistic painting is a tribute to them all.
