REFLECTIONS OF HIMSELF - canvas 149.5x 97 cm- with frame 165.5x114.
In this painting I have combined my two passions: the figurative and the abstract. The first stems from the pleasure that this model curled up on herself with her red hair, and so sensual, gives me, in fact this model in this pose with some modification is present in other works of mine, (see "Night of Full Moon". And The second passion of mine, that is abstractionism, from the pleasure it gives me to let color act freely to unleash one's "creative energy." To use the canvas as an arena, in which to let the expressive power of the subject matter unleash; see my series called Abstract Expressionism.
P.S. I say this only to you.... someone said this is for me to avoid sessions at the psychoanalyst !!!! Good day to you all.
