This piece is acrylic and papers on canvas. It was inspired from the view from my studio window at Chateau d'Orquevaux in France. I was an Artist in Residence there in October 2023.

"Reflections of Dawn's Embrace" beckons viewers into a tranquil pastoral scene, where the gentle embrace of dawn casts a hushed serenity over the landscape. In this evocative painting, muted colors wash over the canvas, imbuing the scene with a sense of quietude and introspection.

Against the backdrop of rolling hills and meadows, the first light of dawn filters through over the horizon, casting ethereal reflections upon a tranquil pond. The water's surface mirrors the soft hues of the sky and hills above, creating a mesmerizing tapestry of light and shadow.
