'Reflections Of A Teenage Girl' is a mood portrait that exudes emotion on many levels. The girl is lost in thought as she reflects on something or perhaps someone. Is there a sense of melancholy or disappointment? Only the viewer can decide. This work is one of only a few remaining figurative pieces from my portrait painting years. She has never been listed for sale until now.
The inspiration for this work came from the reticent demeanor of the model herself. I did my best to portray her true emotions while painting this work during live sessions.
The work is framed in a substantial wood frame (antique gold) selected specifically for the piece (by the framer) to enhance the drama of the work. It is ready to hang.
- Framed dimensions of 17" (H) x 14" (W) x 1.7"
- Unframed dimensions 12" x 9" x 1.0"
The work has been sealed with Gamblin Gamar varnish for UV protection. The painting is signed on the bottom right and will be sent with a certificate of authenticity
Thank You for your interest in my work!
