Before moving to north east Aberdeenshire in 2017, I lived adjacent to Southampton Common for 20 years. The Common has been in existence since 1228 and became a public park in 1844. The old cemetery is one of England’s earliest municipal cemeteries and is adjacent to the Common. For four years my Common Ground project examined the Common and the old cemetery.

Common Ground had an Arts Council funded non-selling exhibition in the Southampton City Art Gallery from 2 December 2017 to 7 April 2018. The exhibition comprised of photographs and a commissioned artist’s book alongside planned outreach activity.

I print on Fotospeed 315gsm fine art paper with Epson Ultrachrome® K3 inks. This is a beautiful acid free matt finish paper with a subtle surface texture that wonderfully compliments the photograph.

I will send the photograph flat packed. The print, in a clear acid free sleeve, is secured between two mounting boards for protection before being placed in a strong Colompac envelope. This protects the print from being creased and from corner damage.

The print is signed, numbered and dated on reverse. Please contact me at the time of purchase if you wish for a signature on the front.

Photographs posted within the UK are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery which usually arrive the next day after dispatch before 1pm.

Photographs sent outside the UK are usually sent via UPS to ensure a smooth transit through customs and usually arrive within a week from dispatch.
