It could possibly explain the posture and expression of the couple though.
Impasse ! or a good old heart to heart, clear the air, or to get things back on track.
Maybe none of those things.
She may be glaring at the viewer, the one who perhaps upset the apple cart.
I think she is with him but wants to be with me. I may be wrong.
