I painted this as a demo for a painter that I am tutoring. I wanted her to see reflected light - and how it captures the color of the surface that it reflects off of. It was interesting to see how much red did bounce up onto the surface of the cup!
It is painted on gessoed paper, which has been mounted to a cradled panel using ph neutral glue.
