"Reenadinna Yew Wood" is a Triptych Photopolymer Intaglio print. In this instance the three panels are printed together on a single sheet of Fabriano. However, I have also printed each of the three panels as individual editions - see separate listings for "Reenadinna Yew Wood" Parts 1, 2 and 3.
The yew woodland in the Killarney National Park in the South West of Ireland is known as Reenadinna Wood. It is about 0.25 square kilometres (62 acres) in size and is located on low-lying karst limestone pavement between Muckross Lake and Lough Leane on Muckross Peninsula. Yew woodland is the rarest habitat type in the park. Yew woodlands are one of the rarest types of woodland in Europe, mostly restricted to western Ireland and southern England.
