Original artwork description:

This is my second “Reef” sculpture and is circular not only in it’s total shape, but also in lots of it’s individual elements. Again the forms are inspired by corals and their cells, and the marine life in reefs.

It is a striking white dimensional relief sculpture revealing individual coral, plant and plankton like shapes on closer inspection.

Each element is mounted individually on the backing board and protrudes up to 5cm, casting intricate shadows depending on the direction of the light shining through them.
