Hatter, a wonderland traveler, is a solitary trekker searching for something larger than life in a magnificent redwood forest. A great horned owl carries a lantern to illuminate a lost path out of the dense forest.

It was created in 3D software, and all items and figures are modeled with camera, lighting, and backdrop picture sets for rendering. I use Photoshop filters to add antique effects and subdued colors to recreate the nostalgia, ambiance, and feel of a woodland area, as shown in my most recent composition. Collectors of art may discover a symbolic allusion to surrealist painters such as Salvador Dali and Rene Magritte.

This is a collection of witty, out-of-the-box thinking, and thought-provoking artwork from the Surreal series.

The available sizes are 24x24, 32x32, and 40x40. Please contact me if you are interested in a larger size, but please be aware that shipping outside of the United States and Canada is quite expensive.
