This painting is my entry to "Portraits from the precipice". Climate change can worsen wildfires by raising temperatures and increasing the chances of drought. Both of these factors can create “tinderbox” conditions, meaning that – once ignited – a fire can spread very quickly over large areas of land. Major cause of forest fires in USA are due to human activities.
