Textured abstract with warm and cool contrasting colors, inspired by the night time views of hilltop hamlets - the mountain side covered in homes and the night lights are a mesmerising sight. I love working with red color, however it can easily overpower the image; I liked the Scarlett red that set up the contrast for warmer colors but is strong without being flamboyant. The painting has a textured finish applied with brush and palette knife.
