RED WOMAN -2017- Mixed media on digital on canvas with enamel and varnish, cm.80x80x5 -The inspiration for this work is common to almost all my works. Eros and Sexuality are at the centre of my research and are expressed through the provocative and almost exhibitionistic attitudes of the protagonists. Female bodies, dreamy, oneiric atmospheres that through a typically contemporary artistic language, due to the ‘mixed technique’ of digital setting enriched by a manual chromatic treatment give the entire composition refinement and mystery. The geometric figure as opposed to the moon plays a perfect role as a provocative image. A discourse around the human body, to communicate emotions, recall loves and faces consumed by time and illuminated by a faint twilight light to represent their hidden world.
The authentic work is executed by me in a single piece. Finally treated with clear varnish to make it durable and resistant over time.
