Original artwork description:

Part of my 30 Paintings in 30 Days challenge, I set up this red vase with some fabric and wanted to paint the folds. The vase is similar to the one I painted a few days ago, so the two paintings can be displayed together.

This simple still life was painted from life in my studio, using a limited palette of just four colours including white. The sides of the little canvas are painted too, and it can be displayed without a frame on a small easel.

gesso, canvas, oil paints, varnish
