"The secret is to give an umbrella to all our dreams, so that dawn can't wake them up with its usual tears dedicated to a moon that has to go.."
Cit.
My latest painting, the RED UMBRELLA, was born after a critical period and the umbrella, in fact, is represented in a metaphorical key: a situation to solve or a fear to face, a pair of welcoming arms in which to take shelter so as not to get wet from the rain of life.
Art is my umbrella, my shelter, my safe harbor.
The painting is made with a mixed technique on wood: the two women and the underlying yellow part are painted in acrylic, for the background I applied a vintage 70s decorative paper. I used a transparent protective glossy varnish. The work will be shipped with its certificate of authenticity.
