Original artwork description:

One of my flower pastels framed. I had these red Tulips which were edged with yellow and they had black centres which looked quite abstract. My style is impressionistic with a semi abstract feel and these Tulips fitted the bill beautifully . I particularly like the way the petals form when the flowers are a few days old. They form interesting shapes and I added the brilliant blue background which contrasted with the red . Two of my favourite colours. This pastel artwork is framed in a gold frame and has a white mount. It is ready to hang.
