Original artwork description:
We visited the tulip fields of Lincolnshire with their far horizons and clear skies, and that's where I took a photo of my husband surrounded by these really bright red tulips. I didn't put him in the painting.
To paint this I used oil paint on a gessoed wooden board.
I've left it unframed but it will slip seamlessly into a 6" x 6" (15 x 15 cm) photo frame. Or you could just prop it up on a shelf in a contemporary sort of way!
Carefully packed between boards with bubble wrap and sent via Royal Mail.
