Original artwork description:

I was inspired to use my pastels for this still life as I had a beautifully decorated tablecloth so I built the other shapes and colours round it. The oranges and apples added another dimension and the white garden chair went with the white of the lilies. Then the red Kimono added the finished composition. This painting has a cream coloured frame and a double mount adding to it's size and finishing of this still life pastel to perfection.
This painting was exhibited in the Mall Galleries, London at the Society of Women Artists summer exhibition. I am proud to be a member of the S.W.A and there is a photo of me with the painting there.
