As an artist, I find inspiration in many things, but for this particular painting, I drew inspiration from the aesthetics of 1940s fashion and old masters painting compositions. I wanted the painting to have a vintage, classic feel, while still feeling modern and fresh. This painting is a beautiful tribute to the grace and beauty of women.

At the center of the painting stands a woman, draped in a white, fitting silk nightgown that flows ever so gently down her curves. She radiates a soft, silver glow that illuminates the painting. Her energy is gentle but strong. I was drawn to the idea of a "femme fatale," a powerful and seductive female character often portrayed in classic film noir.

The bloody red skies in the background with stars and the moon shining provided a striking contrast to the woman in white. Dramatic lighting creates a sense of timelessness and elegance. In the distance, a landscape is visible, though it's hazy and vague, evoking a sense of mystery.
The result is a portrait that pays homage to the past while remaining relevant to the present.


This artwork is made with oil on cotton canvas, coated with semi-gloss varnish for bright colors and clear permanent protection for years.
Canvas was wrapped around the wooden frame, painted around the edges to compliment the artwork & doesn't need framing.
