“The robin flew from his swinging spray of ivy on to the top of the wall and he opened his beak and sang a loud, lovely trill, merely to show off. Nothing in the world is quite as adorably lovely as a robin when he shows off - and they are nearly always doing it.”
― Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden
I've always think back to the Secret Garden when I see a robin. They are such bold wonderful birds that I forget how little they are. I could paint them again and again.
Artwork comes framed in solid wood frame, black with a yellow lines or bronze embossed. Oil paintings stay healthiest with air flow over the canvas surface, so it is framed without glass, this also allows you to see the texture of the paint without reflection.
