A Study of a Red Roan Horse Harnessed to a Cart. In this painting, I aimed to capture the serene dignity and quiet strength of a red roan horse, robust and regal against the lush backdrop of a green meadow. Using oils, I embraced a blend of figurative technique, impressionistic touches, and realistic detail to evoke a sense of timeless grace. The vivid colors and light play on the harness and cart highlight the horse's role, not just as a beast of burden, but as a noble companion in rural life. This piece exudes a calm energy, perfect for bringing a touch of pastoral elegance to any space. This horse with a cart attracted my attention when I arrived at the study in Bogoluyubovo. This carriage drove tourists to the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl. The terrible heat had melted, and the horse was overcome and bit by flying gadfly.
