Red draws attention like no other colors and radiates a strong and powerful energy that motivates us to take action. Here my long due humble attempt to create red landscapes with a touch of gold leaf in texture and using palette knives.

Painting has various layer of crackle paste, impasto, 23 k gold leaf, the little details which only can be seen with eyes. The teal blue and teal green has been layered underneath which creates a depth.

When the work was done, I saw red vineyard and the running horses in the gold leaf layering process, and other times I see Dante’s heaven in the red collection; few saw them as wild gardens too. You will also have your own story when you will look at the dazzling textures mixed with gold leaves. The idea came up after studying Van gogh's red vine yard painting.
