I painted this bright red poppy flower as an antidote to the dull and grey days of the British winter!
Using washes of vermillion and cadmium red against a cobalt violet textured background and touches of green for the semi-abstracted leaves, this paintings definitely pops!
The painting comes mounted and backed if sent to UK or otherwise unmounted and posted in a sturdy shipping tube. Alternatively can be sold framed in a quality oak wood frame as shown in the photos (UK only) for £40 more please contact me for this option.
