Original artwork description:

Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.

Red Poppies. Large Poppy Field. Large Flower Field. Original abstract contemporary flowery art.
61.0" width x 33.5" height x 1.5" depth.
(155 cm Breite x 85 cm Höhe x 3,8 cm Keilrahmenstärke)

Red poppies are fascinating: on the one hand, their red coloring makes them strong and brave, and on the other hand, their special design makes them easily recognizable, as beautiful as they are delicate and vulnerable. The complexity of the poppy is also reflected in its meaning in different cultures: it ranges from romantic love and passion to sleep and transience, memory and comfort or peace and reconstruction. - During some beautiful walks in nature, I love to gather inspiration for pictures like Red Poppies L 1 and implement them as a dynamic, abstract painting. For me, it is less about reproducing what can be seen in the painting - rather, the feeling that is connected to what is seen is in the foreground.

For this floral painting with its life-affirming character, I naturally mixed red and green tones on my palette, as well as yellow, blue, violet, pink, magenta, orange, white, sienna and dark brown colors.

It was painted with professional acrylic paint on canvas. Stretched on a wooden frame. The sides are painted, so the painting is ready to hang. You get a certification of authenticity.
I always offer exclusive my original paintings, handmade, signed and dated on the front by myself...Peter Nottrott
